Your Role with the Company:

Grant PUD has an opportunity for a Plant Manager located at their Wanapum and Priest Rapids hydro power plants in central Washington. The Plant Manager ensures all aspects of Operations & Maintenance at Grant PUDs Hydro-Electric power generation facilities are conducted according to pertinent local, state, and federal regulations while creating a culture around safe, reliable, long-term, low-cost, and efficient power production. The candidate is required to have bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration* and a minimum of ten-years of power plant operations (thermal and/or hydro), utility management and/or engineering experience. The position is open due to transition of several upper level positions.  The COO will be retiring, and the current Director will fill his role.

Background Profile:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in an upper management position in O&M of hydro or thermal plants
  • Former Plant Manager experience preferred
  • Ability to drive change through use of performance metrics
  • Building great relationships with crews; understanding the challenges involved and helping guide your team
